Act 2

I feel like I can compare Ms Linde and Nora's friendship. Ms Linde would do anything for Nora's safety.  Nora feels like her secret coming out is so intolerable that she would kill herself. Nora feels like committing suicide is the answer for her case with Krogstad. Krogstad doesn't even care about Nora and he feels like she won't do it. But Krogstad and Ms Linde had a relationship in the past. She even says, "there was a time when he would gladly have done anything for me." (Ibsen 202)
I didn't like how Nora was flirting with Dr Rank when she's married to Trovald and he is a close family friend. After, Dr Rank confessed his feelings for her. Dr Rank says, "to have loved you as deeply as anyone else- was that horrid?"(Ibsen 195) Then, she couldn't go through with her plan. If I was Nora and I needed money I would've asked Trovald. If he asks why I would've make up something about the dress being too expensive or I needed accessories.
Nora is totally being hysterics. In the story it states, "yes, a miracle, But its so dreadful. Kristina, it mustn't happen- not for anything in the world." (Ibsen 201) Nora was telling Ms Linde that her secret can't come out unless a miracle happens and someone takes the blame for her. Nora doesn't want a disreputable reputation. What would you do if you were Nora? Do you feel like it's okay to flirt with a close family friend?

  3. In the whole play it sounds all weird. Nora is in love with doctor rank at some point in the story and then you have her wanting to kill herself. Not to mention that her whole life is pretty much messed up because of the lies shes told and things she held in.

  4. I don't feel like it's okay to flirt with a close family member that's just weird. Also she only did it so he could be one of her options in borrowing money. She uses everyone, especially those who love her the most. Nora is very sly and conniving,
