Act 1

I feel like I could compare Torvald as a father figure to Nora. He gives her frivolous nicknames like you give to a child but then again it's the 1840s. As it states in the story, "when did the squirrel get home"(pg148)Nora is now really gullible that's she thinks that frogry is like contraband. She thinks that, "corrupt my little children- poison my home?"(pg180) Nora said it like she was incredulously with that thought of it. If I was Nora and I were in her shoes I would've told Helmer than I borrowed money from Krogstad.
Helmer would've payed for it because it was for his health anyways.  Instead of lying to him and to everyone else.  It states in the books that, "now that you're going to earn a big salary, you'll have lots and lots"(pg148) Wouldn't you do the same thing? I mean it is her husband I feel like he would understand. She was only trying to help him.
She knew Krogstad was gonna be petty later even after she pays him off the money she owes him. Then she would go to jail because of him or have a bad reputation after Krogstad tells on her to everyone. What would you do if you were Nora? Would you never tell him? Have this secret until you get exposed?

  7. Gross that Helmer is like a father to Nora and she seems to be perfectly fine with it.
